Is it REALLY September?

I am sad that I have not blogged in a long time. I wish I could sit down for just a few minutes a day and keep you up to date with what is going on in our crazy lives, I will try and do better. Now, to try to catch up. . . the BIG P's have been back in school for three weeks now. The little p's and I miss them a lot during the day. I have an angel who comes to help me with the twins a couple days a week. Her name is Irene, she is from Kenya, Africa and has been here for 6 years. We originally met 5 years ago during VBS. She is a strong christian mother of two boys and I look forward to the days she is with us. She and her husband are working so hard to become permanent residents here in the USA, would you keep them in your prayers, that God would show up big time for them so they can continue to witness and encourage others on HIS behalf.

Our basement is almost finished, it has taken a little longer than we expected. . . dosen't it always? It is beautiful, we are so excited to be able to move back in and do life down there! We have a nice guest bedroom, an entertainment room with a big TV and stereo and Wii/Playstation 3 coming soon, a library with furniture coming soon, a full beautiful kitchen with pecan cabinets and bar, Jamies office, a craft area for me and storage area and a nice bathroom too! We are excited to have the space for gathering to study His word, and for fellowship. Parker and Paeton are already planning their birthday parties they want to hold in the new and improved basement. We pray it will help us host many a youth gathering, many family gatherings and a great place for making lasting memories with dear friends.

Jamie and Parker spent the holiday weekend in Branson, MO at the annual Kanakuk, father son retreat. They always have the best time challenging themselves mentally, physically and spiritually. They come home with the most hysterical stories, having grown closer to each other, their fellow dad/son friends and in their relationship and devotion to their GOD!

Phelix and Phisher enjoy their morning walks. Applesauce, pears, bananas, peaches, blueberries, apricots, sweet potato's, carrots, squash and rice cereal are favorite foods. Fruit and veggies mixed with chicken or turkey puree are also good. Green beans, peas, ham, and beef are rejected choices. They enjoy teething on biter cookies and are working on mastering their pincher grasp with cheerios. Phisher loves to read books! His favorite book is Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Phelix loves Praise baby DVD's, he is so cute waving his little arms in the air worshiping his God! They both enjoy music and playing peek-a-boo. When they smile and laugh out loud, our hearts melt. If you have ever seen the movie, Happy Feet, with the little penguin, Mambo, you have met our Phisher. He is always moving is legs and feet, flapping his arms, this kid loves to move! He is so happy and exudes life! My favorite thing Phelix does is sign for me to kiss him. It is amazing and true, when we first met him in Ethiopia in just a few days he had a sign for kissing his momma. It is the cutest! He opens his little mouth just a little, head is tipped down (he is so stinkin' cute) when I respond and pucker up and kiss him, he places his little hands on each side of my face and holds me there for however many kisses he is wanting. I love it!

Life is good, really, really good. We are still working on sleeping through the night. Jamie and I are up several times for feedings and comforting. God is good, really, really good! We are blessed, we are happy, we are The Outman 6.
